Day 34-Love celebrates godliness

Today's Dare: Find a specific, recent example when your spouse demonstrated Christian character in a noticeable way. Verbally commend them for this at some point today.

God's Word says: Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. 1Corinthians 13:6
I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth. 3 John 4
I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. Psalm 101:2

  1. This will be super easy for me! Chad is such a good daddy I need to be better about telling him and telling him in front of the kids. I think nice things all the time but I need to make my thoughts verbal.

  2. I think this will be easy for me too. Daniel has just changed so much in the past few weeks/months and it's just amazing to see how the Lord is shaping him. We've had lots of conversations lately about this...so I'll just have to make sure to point out something specific. This is fun! I love seeing his face when I point out how he's been a spiritual leader...it's like he's shocked! LOL

  3. Okay WOW! God totally gave me this opportunity today. Daniel called and was telling me about a customer he met today. He said she mentioned that they had just moved to Rockwall a few months ago. Apparently he got back in the car and was filling out her paperwork when he said he felt "called" to go back up to her door. He asked her if they had thought about trying churches and suggested that they check out LP. They talked for a few minutes about churches and she agreed to visit LP with her husband and thanked Daniel for taking the time to come back and talk to her. WOOOOOW! This is a HUGE step for Daniel. I love that he shared this experience with me and it was the perfect opportunity to praise his obedience to God's calling! He witnessed to a complete stranger and shared his testimony...and even invited them to church! HOLY COW!

Thank you Lord for moving so dramatically in Daniel's life!

  4. alicia, that is so cool about Daniel. That doesn't happen everyday. Very awesome experience for both of you!
I have something specific to compliment Richard on, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm looking forward to talking to him about this today! So fun to spur this on and awesome to be able to be happy and excited for them!!!
