Todays Dare: Whatever you haven't forgiven in your mate, forgive it today. Let it go. Just as we ask Jesus to "forgive us our debts" each day, we must ask Him to help us "forgive our debtors" each day as well.
God's Word says: What I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:10

I have not been doing well. I'm playing catch up today. :) Hope you are all sticking with it better than I. Miss talking to you and the week I haven't done the dare wasn't nearly as good as when I was doing it. ugh! Love to you all!
ReplyDeleteBitterness is my greatest downfall! So this ch. made me realize that I need to forgive first and then I can deal with my bitterness, fun times!
ReplyDeleteSidenote: We are leaving for Kansas Saturday morning and will be home Wednesday evening so if a dare has to be done in person it will have to wait until me and the kiddos return home to daddy!

I can forgive pretty easily, but forgetting the "act" is hard. I'm still working on leaving things in the past and not remembering them when Richard does something I don't like. I don't usually vocalize them, but my thoughts go right to the past grievances. When I think about if he was in my shoes and thinking about my past grievances every time I slipped, I will feel terrible! Wow! Total realization-thank you God! I'm going to make a big effort to not remind myself of past wrongs.
